Thai Teen Turns Down Kim Kardashians Desire to Adopt Her

It seems that not everyone is interested in keeping up with the Kardashians, particularly a teen girl from Thailand, who met Kim Kardashian when she and her family visit the poverty-stricken area for an episode of their reality show. Laddawan Tong-Keaw is 13, an she lives in an orphanage in Thailand because her mother did not have enough money to care for her. She bonded with the reality star, but didn’t want to be a part of her family.

“We had a connection straight away. I think she is really pretty and she has a very nice personality,” said Laddawan of Kim K.

“When you meet someone that you really connect to like this, you can’t help but think like how you could change their life. And I think that looking into adoption would be amazing. I literally cannot stop thinking about her. I told Kanye, I was like, honestly, this girl is so sweet and so cute, like, I would honestly adopt her,” said the reality star.

Laddawan, on the other hand, was less into the idea. “Everyone wants to have a different or a better life, I suppose. But when I thought about it I realized it wouldn’t be good for me, because I would have to leave so much behind. I wasn’t ready for that,” said the young girl. As for what her family thinks, Kris Jenner had a little something to say.

“I think you can’t just go to an orphanage and fall in love with a child and then take them home like you’re shopping,” she said to her daughter. It doesn’t appear that Kim K. is really going to go through with the process after the manager of the orphanage told her that it is very difficult to adopt in Thailand, but who knows if she will consider the prospect at another date.
