Lofton Shaw Facts

He started taking vocal and piano lessons at the age of 9. While growing up, his dream was to win the singing reality show, American Idol.

His first acting experience came when he was in 4th grade. His classmate’s mother had encouraged him to participate in a Shakespearean acting competition organized by California State. He succeeded in the competition and got to perform at the State Capitol in front of hundreds of audience members, which included state senators.

He further fell in love with acting after he auditioned for the school production of a play called King Hammurabi. He managed to bag the lead role of King Hammurabi.

In his free time, he likes to play video games and go for skateboarding with his close friends. He also loves to play football or throw a frisbee around with his mates. He also loves to do skydiving, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and mountain climbing.

He has done a lot of activism work for animal causes and is a huge supporter of Best Friends Animal Society, which runs many national and regional programs including pet adoption and raising funds for animal shelters.

While studying in elementary school, he had to endure a lot of bullying because of his short stature.

He started taking martial arts training at the age of 5 and has even managed to earn his black belt.

He had a pet dog named, Butter.

Lofton has served as the youth ambassador for Rett Syndrome.
