Duke Dumont and Gorgon City unveil video for 'Real Life'

Dance music giants Duke Dumont and Gorgon City have unveiled the music video for their new single ‘Real Life’ featuring NAATIONS.
Directed by Ben & Ross (Ed Sheeran, Disclosure), the video takes today’s obsession with likes, selfies and emojis to the extreme. Taking place at a school prom, we see a shy girl being bullied by a gang of three girls, and ultimately the whole school, as they use their phones to torment her. The entire school is completely dependent on technology, which seems to be a means of acceptance for many of the pupils. Eventually, the shy girl fights back and uses emojis in a bizarre yet satisfying way, destroying the bullies and becoming Prom Queen along the way.

‘Real Life’ was released earlier this month and was inspired by the beautiful Balearic setting of Ibiza. It sees Duke Dumont and Gorgon City combine their insane talents to create another infectious offering. NAATIONS provides the vocal for the track, and gives ‘Real Life’ a unique edge.
The track has garnered great support since its release, after being championed by the likes of Radio 1 tastemakers Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Danny Howard, Mistajam and Greg James. It has also been streamed over three million times on Spotify alone. The release of the music video is only set to propel the track even higher.
Both Duke Dumont and Gorgon City will be keeping the track’s momentum going this summer, as they prepare for numerous dates across the world. In addition to their Ibiza residency and performances at huge festivals, Gorgon City will be heading out on a 22-date UK and North America tour, whilst Duke Dumont will be heading to Australia and America.
